Fundraising Event – Mount Snowdon

On Saturday 29th July, Madina Mosque will be taking part in a trek up Mount Snowdon to raise funds for the ongoing construction project. We will set off at 5.30 am and arrive back by 9 pm.

The ascending and descending routes will be on the Pyg track, the total distance (to summit and back) is 7 miles of strenuous walking and moderate climbing, and takes approximately 3 hours to walk each way.

Each person must pay a £50 registration fee (including transport) or £15 (if you make your own way). Sibling, family, and parent discounts apply. Furthermore, each participant should aim to raise £250 for the Masjid. Full details of how you can pay the registration fees and sponsorship will be given when you have completed the consent form.

Participants must be aged 18+, 16 – 17 year old participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult and those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Due to the nature of the activity, all participants must complete the consent form.
