*** Important Announcement ***
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu
We hope this message finds you and your family in the best of health. In line with the latest announcement made by the government on Saturday evening, unfortunately places of worship will not be permitted to hold congregational prayers and services once the lockdown comes in effect on Thursday morning.
As a result and with a heavy heart, the Madina Masjid & Community Centre will be closed for congregational prayers and Jumu’ah prayers from Thursday 5th November 2020.
All brothers and sisters are encouraged to perform congregational prayers at home with one’s family. Furthermore, brothers and sisters should pray the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer at home as Dhuhr (4 raka’ah instead of 2 raka’ah).
The Jumu’ah Bayaan will be broadcast online via the masjid Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/madinamasjid&communitycentre) and on our you tube channel at (Madina Masjid Manchester) every Friday at 1pm Insha’Allah. Weekly Dars-e-Quran will also be live broadcast on every Sunday after Maghrib.
Please note that these measures will take effect after Isha salah on Wednesday 4th November 2020. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and update you accordingly, Insha’Allah.
We greatly appreciate your patience and support of the Masjid at this difficult time.
We pray to Allah for His mercy, His protection and a return to when all Masajids are fully open, full of worshippers and full of activities for the spiritual and social wellbeing of our community.
Say, “Nothing will ever befall us except what Allah has destined for us. He is our Protector.” So in Allah let the believers put their trust. (Surah At-Tawbah 9:51)

Madina Masjid and Community Centre strives to meet the religious and social needs of the community. We do this by offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere; non-judgmental and nurturing of the human soul.
We have been on this site since the late 1980’s and have continued to expand and grow to meet the growing local population. Our Masjid is a place of worship, a communal hub of local activity and an educational centre. We cater for the needs of the young and old, female and male alike.
